Neighborhood Talks

  • Canterbury Book Store 908 Ludington Street Escanaba, MI, 49829 USA (map)

Our theme this week will be: Stereotypes: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

The premise of these talks is this; since we took over the Canterbury Book Store we have had so many interesting and inspiring conversations, meeting everyday people with remarkable lives and interests. Rebecca read the recent biography of Fred Rogers and was moved to ask, “how can we be good neighbors?”

For the next several Wednesdays we are going to lure you in with coffee and snacks. Some discussion will be based on The Good Neighbor (available in-store, but under no obligation), and we hope to grow into a small group series based on the interests of our community. Consider yourself invited!
